Project Life: Week 28

Apparently I eat at Ruby Tuesday’s a bit too frequently – my waitress brought me an entire pitcher of water this week….which was actually pretty awesome.PLWk28Sunflowers

On the way back from a grant walkthrough, I passed a gorgeous field of sunflowers. I had to get a photo – I mean this is quintessential summer, is it not?PLwk28PoolJournaling

A few other highlights from the week:

  • We gave up on the pool this week. It’s just too late in the season to try to clean it and get any real use out of it. Hopefully next year we’ll be able to convert to salt water and maintenance will be easier.
  • Mornings are so not my best time. I’d much rather stay in bed.
  • Dad did some serious sanding on my Hoosier cabinet this weekend. Hopefully we’re just a couple more work days away from a finished product.
  • I finally broke down and bought myself a new Mac – my old Dell reached its limit and a replacement couldn’t have come at a better time.
