Week of: January 27 – February 2, 2014
What happened this week: Dad was home recovering & I took off work to help him. Lots of quilting, reading, and cleaning happening this week. Oh, and I drove his 67 Ford Econoline Truck from the carport to the new building – it’s a standard, and only died half a dozen times, so I’m calling that a win.
Anything special in the spread: I joined my first quilt-bee via instagram. Very fun, and something I would not have done had it not been for my #26Quilts Project.
Techniques this week: I used another handmade M,T,W,T,F card using Studio Calico stamps and I still absolutely love how it turned out. Other than that, it’s been more of the same.
Overall thoughts: Still loving this project, still loving sharing it. Seriously, I’ve got my groove going now – I’m sharing several weeks behind current, but that’s working so so well. Awesome.
Supplies used : Midnight core kit, Studio Calico embellishments (stamp letters, various cards, vellum stickers, and green washi tape), orange washi from Target, and flair from a flair for buttons.
Tools used : Design A pocket pages, Fiskars corner rounder, Zig Millenium pen, Amy Tangerine date stamp, 3×4 Grid Journaling Cards, Staz-on Ink. All photos were printed at Walgreens using the Printicular app for iphone.
Project Life is a memory-keeping system created by Becky Higgins. Each week I post my Project Life layouts. For 2014, I’m using the Midnight Core Kit and supplementing it with stamps, buttons, and filler from various finds. To see layouts from 2013, click here.

Great spread. That Studio Calico stamp is really great.
Love how you captured your yoga session.

Totally jealous of the Bee. I’ve never done one and this looks like a project I would have enjoyed (modern).
Do you go to a yoga class or practice at home? I’ve been thinking of starting some yoga for stretching.
And I’m now totally stalking, I mean following, you on Instagram.

Awesome, Jody! I’d love for you to follow me on Instagram 🙂 I go to a yoga class once a week – I don’t really feel ready to practice at home yet; I’m still not sure what I’m doing 🙂
The bee is so much fun & I’m so happy I stumbled upon it on instagram!
