Project Life 2014: Week 4

Week of: January 20-26, 2014

What happened this week: Dad went in for surgery, we spent all week at the hospital.

Anything special in the spread: I included Dad’s hospital bracelets- kind of a cool thing to have in there.

Techniques this week: I made a M,T,W,T,F card using Studio Calico stamps and I absolutely love how it turned out – it’s a great way to capture quick notes about each day… in fact, I made several of these cards to use in the coming weeks – they’re just too easy! Also, lots of journaling this week – blurred for privacy.

Overall thoughts: Still loving this project, loving how fast sharing has become. This really is the way to go for me! Also, this week was ridiculous – just so ridiculous; we’re glad to be home, to say the least.

Supplies used : Midnight core kit, Studio Calico stamps (letters, I give this meal, star), & “noted” stamp from Hancock Fabrics.

Tools used : Design A pocket pagesFiskars corner rounderZig Millenium penAmy Tangerine date stamp3×4 Grid Journaling CardsStaz-on InkAll photos were printed at Walgreens using the Printicular app for iphone.

Project Life is a memory-keeping system created by Becky Higgins. Each week I post my Project Life layouts. For 2014, I’m using the Midnight Core Kit and supplementing it with stamps, buttons, and filler from various finds. To see layouts from 2013, click here.
